What is Remix Career?
Remix Career is a career analysis platform for mid-career professionals. You complete 15 open-ended questions about your strengths, values, concerns, and ambitions. Your responses are analyzed through a coaching methodology combined with AI to produce a personalized career strategy, including your career archetype, recommended directions with example companies, and an analysis of how AI will affect each path.
How is this different from a career quiz or personality test?
Most career tools use multiple-choice questions and slot you into broad categories. Remix Career asks you to write, and the methodology works with the specific language you use, the tensions in what you describe, and the patterns across your answers. What comes back isn't a personality label. It's a career strategy with specific directions, example companies, and steps you can take this week.
Who is this for?
Professionals with real career experience who are at an inflection point. That could be a layoff, a growing sense that something needs to change, or the realization that being good at your job and being fulfilled by it aren't the same thing. If you've built meaningful expertise and can't see how to redirect it, this was built for you.
How long does the analysis take?
About 30 minutes. The questions ask for genuine reflection, not quick answers, so give yourself space to think. Your report is generated shortly after you finish.
What do I get in the free report?

What role does AI play in the analysis?
The AI analyzes your open-ended responses through a structured coaching methodology, extracting patterns across everything you said and mapping your profile against thousands of career possibilities. Each section of the report builds on the ones before it, so the analysis gets more personalized as it goes. The AI is the reason this depth is possible at this price point, but the methodology driving it comes from years of executive coaching experience.

Remix Career is a self-serve analysis tool, but the methodology behind it was developed by Steven Miyao through years of executive coaching.
